Anchr App is Pro Pics' service provider coordination platform. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our web and mobile applications.

Anchr App enables Pro Pics to coordinate with independent service providers, facilitate event assignment offerings, and streamline operational workflows. This platform is intended for business use only, and all data is collected and processed in accordance with your independent contractor relationship with Pro Pics.
Data We Collect
Account Information
- Authentication credentials: Email address and password (encrypted)
- Profile information: First name, last name, phone number, date of birth
- Profile images: Avatar and background photos (optional)
- Professional information: Professional tagline, about section, social media links (optional)
- Equipment information: Camera equipment and photography gear you choose to list (optional)
Location Data
- Service provider address: Full address including street, city, state, zip code, and country (optional)
- Geographic coordinates: Latitude and longitude (derived from your address via geocoding) used for logistics coordination
- Location privacy settings: Your choice of location visibility level (city, state, country, or none)
Assignment-Related Data
- Event offerings: Assignments offered to you and your acceptance decisions (accepted, pending, declined)
- Role information: The role associated with assignments you accept
- Availability preferences: Your availability calendar and scheduling preferences that you choose to share
- Assignment completion records: Records of assignments you have completed for documentation and record-keeping purposes
Expense and Financial Data
- Expense documentation: Receipt images, expense amounts, categories, dates, and reimbursement information for costs incurred while performing services
- Travel information: Mileage logs, departure and destination points for mileage reimbursement
- Payment processing: Records related to contracted services and authorized expense reimbursements
Device and Technical Information
- Device information: Device type (iOS, Android), device name, operating system version
- Push notification tokens: Device tokens for delivering push notifications via Expo and Pusher services
- App version: Mobile app version for support and troubleshooting
- Error logs: Application errors are logged through Sentry for debugging purposes (no personal information is tracked)
Communication Data
- Chat messages: Messages sent through the in-app chat system (group chats and direct messages)
- Communications: Transactional SMS messages (via Twilio) and email messages (via SendGrid) sent automatically for assignment-related notifications
How We Use Data
- Assignment coordination: To present event assignment opportunities for your consideration and facilitate communication about assignments you choose to accept
- Logistics coordination: Your address and location data (when voluntarily provided) are used for logistics coordination purposes, which may include coordinating travel arrangements when requested. Address information is entirely optional and you can use the app without providing it
- Event management: To track assignment offerings and facilitate communication between service providers and companies regarding assignments
- Expense processing: To process authorized expense reimbursements for costs incurred while performing services and maintain financial records
- Push notifications: To send you notifications about assignment opportunities, messages, and important updates
- Platform operation: To provide and maintain the functionality of the web and mobile applications
- Analytics and improvement: To analyze app usage patterns and improve platform functionality (aggregated and anonymized data)
- Support and troubleshooting: To provide customer support and resolve technical issues
Data Access and Sharing
- Client companies: Company administrators and coordinators have access to assignment-related data, including assignments you have accepted, expense documentation, photos, and completion records, as necessary for business operations and record-keeping
- Company isolation: Data is isolated per company instance. Your information is only accessible within the company account you provide services to
- No third-party sales: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes
- Service providers: We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating the platform, subject to strict confidentiality agreements:
- AWS S3: Cloud storage for file storage (photos, receipts, documents)
- Expo and Pusher: Push notification delivery services
- SendGrid: Transactional email delivery
- Twilio: SMS messaging services
- Sentry: Error logging and debugging (no personal information is tracked)
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, including in response to a valid subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or other legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users
Data Security
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols
- Password security: Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text
- Access controls: Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only, based on role-based permissions

- Session management: Web app uses session cookies for authentication only. No marketing or tracking cookies are used
Your Rights
As a user of the Anchr platform, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- Access your data: You can view and access your personal information through your account settings
- Update your information: You can update your profile information, contact details, and preferences at any time
- Location privacy: You can control the visibility of your location information (city, state, country, or none) through your profile settings
- Address information: You may choose to skip adding your address. This is completely optional and will not affect your ability to use the app or receive assignment offers. Address information is only used to facilitate logistics coordination for assignments you choose to accept
- Profile information: Profile fields including social media links, equipment information, and professional tagline are completely optional. You can omit them entirely
- Email visibility: You can control whether your email address is visible to other users within the company you provide services to
- Push notifications: You can manage push notification preferences and opt out of non-essential notifications through your device settings
- Data deletion requests: You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to contractual obligations and legal requirements
- Data export: You can request a copy of your personal data in a portable format
Note: Some data may be retained for legal, accounting, or operational purposes as required by applicable law or contractual obligations. Deletion requests will be processed in accordance with your service agreement and applicable regulations.
Account Deletion Details: When you request account deletion:
- Your avatar and profile images will be deleted
- Chat messages will be retained for archival purposes
- Expense receipts and financial records will be retained for accounting and legal compliance
- Assignment history will be retained for archival purposes

How to Exercise Your CCPA Rights

Financial Incentives
We do not offer financial incentives for the collection, sale, or deletion of personal information.
Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Our standard data retention period is 6 months after account deletion or termination of services, unless a shorter period is required by applicable law, or unless otherwise required by:

Children's Privacy
Anchr App is a platform intended for use by professional independent contractors working with Pro Pics. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this application.
International Data Transfers
Anchr is based in the United States, and all servers and data centers are located within the United States. While the application may be used globally, it is primarily intended for use within the United States, and data processing occurs entirely within the United States.
Communications Review
To maintain appropriate conduct and documentation:
- Group chats: Company coordinators may review group chat messages for operational and record-keeping purposes
- Direct messages: Direct messages between users are not routinely reviewed. However, records may be accessed if a complaint is filed by a participant in the conversation
- SMS/Email logs: Transactional SMS and email messages sent automatically through the app are logged and stored for record-keeping purposes
Mobile App Permissions
The Anchr mobile app may request the following permissions:
- Camera and Photo Library: Used to upload profile images, avatar photos, and expense receipt images. You can deny this permission and still use the app, though you will not be able to upload photos
- Push Notifications: Used to deliver alerts for chat messages and assignment notifications. You can manage notification preferences through your device settings
The app does not request or use:
- Location/GPS tracking (we only use address information you voluntarily provide)
- Contact list access
- Any other permissions beyond those listed above
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our web application uses minimal tracking technologies:
- Session cookies: Session cookies are used for authentication and maintaining your logged-in session. These are essential for the app to function
- Mobile app storage: Basic session storage is used in the mobile app to maintain your login session
We do not use:

Social Media Links
If you choose to add social media links (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) to your profile, these are stored and displayed as clickable links for other users to visit. We do not access, scrape, or retrieve any information from your social media profiles. The links are displayed as-is for networking purposes only. Profile completion, including social media links, is completely optional.
